10/23 – Welcome Circle Gathering: Naming the Soft Frontlines We'll open the circle by claiming the radicality of care, the resistance of rhythm, the truth of being in the revolution, even when it seems unseen.
11/2 – Integration Circle 1
11/6 – Circle Gathering 2: Mythmaking + “Mother”ing We'll unravel the inherited myths of "good parenting," productivity, and value. We'll ask what mythologies we want to live by now.

11/20 – Circle Gathering 3: Rituals of Refusal We'll explore micro-practices of pause, presence, and poetry as tools for interruption.

faq
what's the difference between the gathering and integration circles?
Our gathering circles will be thematic and facilitated. Our time will be slightly more structured so you have an opportunity to engage with texts, questions, and practices.
The integration circles will be opportunities to share how the themes of the prior week are playing out in your life. These circles will be community guided and you'll be invited to share your lived experience as a way to stretch in relation.
do i need to attend every circle? what if i don't feel like i have the time?
Tending the Revolt is structured to support the fluid lives of those caring for children and elders. Attending every circle won't necessary be practical or feasible, and is not a requirement for being an active participant in this community-of-a-moment.
The invitation is to join the circle as you are and as you are able. We also will have a community thread where you can drop in throughout the week as another way to remain in the rhythms of the group!
why are we meeting through the holiday season?
My hope is that Tending the Revolt can serve as a space that offers a grounding presence as we possibly return to families and homes of origins for holiday gatherings.
These spaces and relationship where values, praxes, and myths may be different than our own can serve as playgrounds for experimentation.
Our circles will be a place that we can return to to process, hold each other, and be held in return as we search for the next steps forward in our caregiving and liberation formation journeys.
What will I need to bring to the circle?
The most important thing to bring to the circle is a mindbodyspirit that is open to being in relationship with Self, with like-hearted humans, and with your own conception of Spirit.
Our circles will be a place of curiosity and exploration, and possible tension. If you can enter the circle with a posture of seeker then I believe you will encounter a Wisdom that is already looking to meet you.
i want to attend, but my finances are tight—can i still join?
I trust in reciprocal care, and I believe resourcing can be relational, not transactional.
If this is you, please send me an email ([email protected]) so we can explore what feels spacious and possible within your current budget.
Can I get a refund if i end up not being able to engage with the circle the way i planned?
Unfortunately, no. Committing to the circle is an exercise in trust. Once we begin gathering we will both be surrendering to the ebbs and flows of time and space. You may have plans to come to every circle and then life pulls you in a different direction.
Together we will trust that where and how you are able to show up to Tending the Revolt will be correct for you and the group.

With 20 years of formal and informal experience as both student and teacher of Spirit, my work emerges from the experimental and experiential—a throwing of the Self into moments that yield art, spirituality, and self-expression.
It is work that is shaped by migration, parenthood, spirit, political imagination, and the deep knowing that another world is not only possible—it’s already moving beneath our feet.
While my work refracts through many labels I'll be bringing poet, mother, circle-keeper, alternative educator, and decolonizing & world-building companion into our shared space.
